For the Manufacture or Import：
Follow the left flow chart
Japanese manufacturers and importers, obliged to notify the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of the prescribed matters within 30 days from the start of the business.
Obligation to Comply with Technical Requirements by the technical standards stipulated by the METI ordinances.
Category A product : Obliged to Conformity Testing by Registered Conformity Assessment Body.
Conformity Testing is including the facilities inspection on the manufacturing factory.
Mandatory testing/inspection (Self-Confirmation Test)
Save record for three years.
Notifying supplier (importer) shall be affix the prescribed marking on the products.
